Renegade By Ted Dekker

I have chosen the book called "Renegade" by Ted Dekker Renegade is a book in a series written by Ted Dekker here is a picture of the cover of Renegade
I read up to chapter 4 so far and i also read the back explaining it. What I found reminded me of the Narnia Series witch i read all the books too. Since am reading the third book first a bit of the story is left out for me but here is a qoute from the beginning of the book
"Our story begins in a world totally like our own yet completly different. What once happened here in our own history seems to be repeating it self, Thousands of years from now some time beyond the year AD 4000." this is qouted from the first page and it is the first paragah from what I toke from that information i made the narnia resamblance because it involves a world quite like ours in the far past.
Iintend to read this whole book and maybe the rest of the series.

  1. I am happy to see you enjoy your book, perhaps more than a travel book about Italy. It seems like you enjoy to read especially if you are able to make the connection with this book and the Narnia series. I have to say it is hard to concentrate while my head is bopping around to Rick Ashly, a very unique experience. I do not understand how some of your fellow students are able to plug themselves into music and complete their work at the same time.

  4. I say... keep the Rick Astley... It makes me feel 18 again!

Mrs. Martin is absolutely correct... given that you can make connections between your current novel and the Narnia series, it seems as though we don't really need to work much to convince you that reading can be a really worthwhile experience...

All we really need to do is to get you concentrating on the details... Would you believe that simply making sure that each sentence starts with a capital letter will make your writin seem as though it was written by someone with 2 or more years of education?

  6. Yes, you caught me fairly and squarely. Now if only I could get you to go over your writing as carefully as you go over mine... ;)

I simply mean that in the same way we make judgments about people based on the way they dress (like in a job interview, for instance), people will also judge us by our writing. Error free writing suggests a writer who is mature and educated. Error-laden writing suggests a writer who is still maturing and working towards an education. That's all.

Not to worry, I already promised that if you kept writing like you have been then you would see definite results sooner rather than later. Don't forget those capital letters to start each sentence as in "You spelled 'writing' wrong."
